In mounted training, they effectively produce a lowering of the horse's head. When adjusted properly, they encourage the horse to tuck in his head, reach for a get behind the bit, and round his back to engage his hind legs under him. Courbette side reins are made of the strongest 3/4" wide bridle leather with rubber donuts to limit the amount of stretch. Eleven numbered holes make equal adjustments easy. Brown, horse size.
