Waterproof leather uppers, reinforced construction and Ariat Cobalt XR Technology provide superior comfort and support with maximum durability in harsh conditions. Other features include soft, supple pigskin lining for enhanced cushioning and breathability, twin Elastic ankle gore, and Duratread™ outsole with self-cleaning tread.

Ariat Cobalt XR technology features a unique slatted composite insert that extends stability all the way through the midrange and into the forefoot for increased balance in the stirrup and on the ground. Cobalt XR also features:

• PU elastomer compound in footbed to disperse shock and reduce impact
• Molded nylon footbed orthotic to support arch and heel
• Encapsulated TPR gel compound that cushions heel on impact
• Patented ATS composite forked shank to provide midrange torsional stability
• Unique XR composite insert that extends stability to the forefoot while maintaining flexibility
• Specifically formulated EVA/rubber Propulsion Grip provides rebound and energy return
