The unique Turnado bit by Herm Sprenger lies perfectly
in the horse's mouth because the mouthpiece is angled
forward by 45°. In contrast to other loose ring
snaffles, the aids given with the reins on this new bit
reach the horse’s mouth more precisely but still in a
soft way. The bit is more readily accepted, resulting in
prompt and ideal chewing activity. The Turnado bit also helps
to prevent tongue vices - putting the tongue over the
bit often stops almost immediately when this bit is used.
This bit features an Aurigan mouthpiece, which is a
strong and solid nickel-free alloy with high oxidation
properties that give it a distinctive and pleasant taste
that horses love, thus encouraging chewing and
acceptance of the bit. The 70 mm diameter rings are
made of stainless steel.
16mm thickness, available in 5", 5.25", and 5.75" sizes.
