This innovative easy on/off halter provides comfort to the horse and peace of mind to the rider or handler. The “ProTec” was safety-inspired by experienced horse people for the horse turned loose in a pasture or paddock. It is designed to release in a panic situation at one or all of the three release points once the horse puts enough pressure on the halter. No snaps or buckles need to be replaced. Once a release has been activated, simply re-fit and close the Velcro release point.

The “ProTec” halter is very lightweight and functional. The soft nylon is extremely tough and easily stands up to everyday use. Together with the soft lambskin lining it reduces or eliminates hair loss and abrasions. As with all nylon products these halters are low maintenance, machine washable and therefore a wise investment. It features reflective strips on noseband and cheek pieces - a great safety factor - and Stainless Steel hardware.
