Legacy Tack Return Policy
Your satifaction is important to us. If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) for a full refund or exchange, provided you follow the guidelines below:
- Items may be returned for a refund or exchange within 90 days of purchase. After 90 days, all sales are final.
- You must complete the return authorization form and send it with your return.
- If we ship you the wrong item, or if the item we ship you is defective or appears to be worn or used (unless such a condition was listed in the online description of the item), we will credit you for the cost of returning the item to us. If a suitable replacement is available you will not be charged for shipping the replacement item to you.
- If the item does not fit or you want to return or exchange it for any other reason then you will be responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to us. However, we do offer free shipping on the first exchange (meaning you pay to ship the original item back to us, but we ship you the replacement for free). If the item is exchanged more than once you will be charged the actual shipping costs for shipping all subsequent exchanges to you.
We cannot accept returns if:
- The item is not in new, unused condition (i.e. has been damaged or soiled, worn, laundered, or dry cleaned, or if the original tags and/or packaging have been discarded). This does not apply to defective items or items damaged during shipment.
- You have failed to include a completed return authorization form.
- The return is not properly packaged. For example, boot boxes must be put in another box before returning them – do not simply tape up the boot box and send it back. Items returned without proper packaging will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
Procedure for returns:
- Complete the return authorization form included in your order and ship it along with your return and a copy of your sales receipt to: 111 W 3rd St, Hearne, TX 77859
- Items must be returned with all original tags and packaging.
- You may return items to us using whatever shipping method you prefer.

For refunds, the amount of the original purchase price (not including shipping charges) will be refunded to your credit card within 5 business days of the time we receive your return. You may call or email us to check the status of your return.

For exchanges, the item you requested in exchange will be shipped to you within 5 business days of the time we receive your return, provided the item you requested is in stock. If the item is not in stock, you will be notified promptly.
Return Policy for Saddles:
- We normally allow you a five day trial period after the receive the saddle to decide whether you want to keep it. If you need this trial period to be extended please just let us know, and we will usually honor your request.
- Your card is authorized when you order a saddle (meaning that the funds on your card will be held aside and will not be available for other purchases, but the money has not actually been deducted yet), but you are not actually charged until after the trial period. If we do not hear from you within five days of the time you receive your saddle your card will be charged.
- If for any reason you decide that the saddle you ordered is not the right saddle for you, you can return it provided it is in NEW condition (unless it was a used or test ride saddle to start with). You may try the saddle on your horse, girth it up, and sit in it, but DO NOT use stirrup leathers until you are sure that you want to keep it. Please make sure your horse is clean and free of sweat, fly spray, etc. before trying the saddle on. Saddles with visible signs of wear, such as stirrup marks, are NOT returnable.
- Custom order saddles are not returnable unless defective. A custom order saddle is one that is specially made according to your specifications (e.g. unusual seat size or flap length).
- Special order saddles may be subject to a 15% restocking fee if return. A special order saddle is one that we do not normally stock but is a standard size. Whether or not we assess the restocking fee depends on the model, size, and color of the saddle. If you order a saddle that is subject to a restocking fee we will notify you before we order it.
